Who I am

This site is run by UNCCUB TECHNOLOGIES LTD, a technical consultancy based in London. UNCCUB TECHNOLOGIES LTD is the data controller for anything you send through it. For any privacy question, email jules.blanc@unccub.com.

What I collect

When you send a message through the contact form, I store:

• your name, email address and message
• your company name and website, if you give them
• the date and time you sent it
• a one-way hash of your IP address, which cannot be turned back into the address, and your browser's user agent string

The hash and user agent are only used to stop the form being abused by automated spam. Nothing else is collected. This site does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers.

Why I use it

I use your details to read your enquiry and reply to it, and to hold the conversation that follows. The legal basis is legitimate interest in responding to a message you chose to send, and taking steps at your request before any contract. I never sell your details, share them for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.

Where it is kept

Form submissions are stored in a database hosted by Neon in its London (UK) region. The site itself is hosted by Netlify, which handles standard request data such as IP addresses to serve pages. If I reply by email, that conversation is held in my email account.

How long I keep it

I keep an enquiry for as long as it is needed to deal with it and any work that follows from it. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. You can ask me to delete yours at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how I use it, or ask me to restrict using it. Email jules.blanc@unccub.com and I will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
