Full website rebuilds
When the current site is holding the business back, I design and build a new one.
I am a web designer and developer in London. I rebuild websites for small and mid-sized businesses across the UK when the one they have cannot be fixed a piece at a time.
Businesses that have outgrown their current website
- Your site runs on a platform you have outgrown, and every change means working around it.
- The design no longer matches the brand, so the site undersells the business behind it.
- The structure cannot support what you sell now. New services or products have nowhere sensible to go.
- It was never built properly in the first place, and every fix turns up another problem.
Do you need a website rebuild, or a fix?
A website redesign or rebuild is the bigger job, so it should be the last option, not the first. If the platform, design and structure are sound and the site is only slow or hard to find, the cause is usually a handful of specific problems that can be fixed on the site you already have.
I look at the site before recommending either. If what it needs is technical SEO and page speed work, I will say so and recommend that instead. A rebuild is the right call when the problem is the foundations: the platform, the brand or the structure.
What a website rebuild covers, from brand to launch
Brand direction
Colour, typography and tone that match the business as it is now, applied consistently across every page.
Page structure and content model
Which pages the site needs, what goes on each, and how content is organised, so there is room for what you add next.
Design
The key pages designed around what a visitor needs to understand and do. You see and approve them before anything is built.
Frontend implementation
The design built as a set of reusable components, so every page behaves consistently on a phone, a tablet and a desktop.
Performance and technical SEO
Fast pages, structured data, a sitemap, and a proper title and description on every page, built in from the start rather than fixed afterwards.
Launch and handover
Pointing your domain at the new site, redirecting the old addresses and requesting re-indexing in Google Search Console, so existing search visibility carries over.
A new website built to grow with the business
- Your domain and hosting in your own accounts, or hosted and looked after by me if you would rather not deal with them.
- A modern, well-supported web stack.
- Fast pages on a phone, checked against Core Web Vitals before launch.
- Indexable from day one, with a sitemap, structured data and a unique title and description on every page.
- A structure that scales, so a new service, product or location is a new page, not another rebuild.
A recent website build
Network Ace
A new website for a London social tennis platform: brand direction, product website design and frontend implementation, with SEO foundations and page speed built in from the start.
- Search impressions
- 500 to 1.6k a month
